  • Email encryption. Outlook.com includes encryption and prevent forwarding features that ensure your confidential and personal information you share via email stays encrypted and doesn’t leave Microsoft 365.   • Ad-free interface. Microsoft 365 subscribers enjoy an ad-free Outlook.com mailbox. Without ads, you have less distractions and enjoy faster page load times.

  • Larger mailbox storage. Microsoft 365 subscribers get 100 GB of email storage as a subscription benefit. You'll have 100 GB of email storage at your disposal.

    Notes: 

    • 100 GB is not available to Microsoft 365 trial subscribers. The increased storage only becomes available shortly after a paid subscription starts.

    • Starting February 1, 2023, cloud storage used across Microsoft 365 apps and services will include Outlook.com attachments data and OneDrive data. Learn more.

These benefits activate automatically for all Microsoft 365 subscribers who have an Outlook.com mailbox associated with their subscription. Outlook.com mailboxes have email addresses ending in @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, and @msn.com.

No, these benefits only apply if your subscription is associated with an Outlook.com account. Outlook.com accounts have email addresses ending in @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, and @msn.com.

You'll continue to have access to your Outlook.com account, but the premium benefits will be deactivated.

No. Outlook.com is a consumer service, so these benefits apply only to Microsoft 365 consumer subscriptions.

Yes, you’ll need to sign in to your Microsoft 365 account as the administrator and remove your domain. For detailed instructions, go to Remove a domain from Microsoft 365. If your domain in Microsoft 365 has dependencies (for example, users, groups, and aliases), you’ll be provided a list of objects that you need to remove as well.
